Our project FoundIt! is an app platform that serves as a central lost and found system for the entire campus. Right now, most lost and founds are managed separately by individual buildings, and many students don’t even know where or how to report lost items. This awareness gap makes it difficult for people to recover their belongings and discourages community involvement. FoundIt brings everything together in one accessible place, making it easy to report, search for, and return lost items. The app also encourages participation through gamification and positive reinforcement, turning small acts of honesty and kindness into rewarding habits. Our goal is to create a simple, connected system that not only reduces stress and saves time but also builds a culture of awareness, empathy, and doing good across campus.
