Kristin Rae Cecchi is a Washington, D.C.-based entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and community builder whose work spans health, philanthropy, culture, hospitality, and design.

She is the founder and CEO of The Third Line Project, a Washington-based platform creating original programming, experiences, and corporate partnerships at the intersection of health, science, longevity, culture, and wellbeing. Kristin brings together leaders and ideas across disciplines through everything from intimate salons and experiential programming to major summits and convenings, including The Third Line Project’s flagship Ascension Summit during White House Correspondents’ Week.

Kristin is also a co-owner of City Tavern, one of Washington’s most historic buildings, located in Georgetown. Together with her husband, John, she is leading its next chapter as the future home of a private social club centered on community, culture, hospitality, and thoughtful programming. She is also a partner in Cecchi Homes, the family’s Washington-based residential development company.

Kristin is deeply involved in philanthropic and cultural organizations. She serves on the Board of Overseers of the New York-based Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation and on the board of The Anchor Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance to survivors of domestic and sexual violence across the Washington-Baltimore region. She has twice chaired the National Portrait Gallery Gala and previously served as chair of the museum’s Portrait Circle.

Kristin graduated summa cum laude from the Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she studied anthropology and journalism. She and John live in NW Washington, D.C. with their three children and two Australian Labradoodles.
