Heidi serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) & Assistant Dean for Development
Most recently, Heidi has served as the lead gift officer and Director of External Relations for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering. She has worked at the University of Maryland (UMD) since 2018 and is a loyal Terp alum.

In her roles of increasing responsibility in the Clark School, Heidi consistently exceeded annual fundraising goals while managing a portfolio of individual and corporate prospects and supervising a coordinator. This involved developing customized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans for UMD’s largest engineering department by undergraduate student population. She also created and executed strategy for all alumni engagement functions.
