Alison Waldman serves as Head of Partnerships, where she builds bridges across industry, academia, and the public sector to support student teams and organizational initiatives. Before joining xFoundry in 2023, Alison founded and ran Available Wellness, a consultancy at the intersection of healthcare and the arts, for over 10 years. As a founder she designed and facilitated hundreds of interventions for hospital workers, patients and staff, and led strategic planning with leadership across disciplines on the new frontier of healthcare. She holds a degree in Communications from Denison University and has lectured on challenging the status quo through entrepreneurship at Georgetown, George Washington University, American University, and the University of Maryland. She holds a certification in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell and an ERYT-200 yoga teaching certification. She delivered her TEDx talk, "Why we should be dancing with our doctors," in 2020. Outside of work, you can find Alison at a dance class, walking her dog, and experimenting with her award-winning sourdough starter.
